Chocolate modeling paste is a combination of chocolate and vegetable oil or corn syrup. It is a pliable form of chocolate used to create decorations for cakes, centerpieces, and chocolate showpieces. Chocolate modeling paste is also referred to as “Chocolate Plastic” and “Modeling Chocolate”. Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate can be used to create chocolate modeling paste, and all sorts of shapes and decorations can be created from it. At The Chocolate Fetish, we never use chocolate modeling paste for decorations on Smash Cakes or chocolate sculptures due to its lack of flavor.
